Jax was so excited last spring to go to school but when day one came he was not so excited. He did not notice me leave since he was petting Bubba the dog of his teacher Lidia who lives in the upper most level of the school (which is a house). He stayed for an hour the first day and only cried a few minutes after he noticed I was gone and then again when I picked him up. The second day was not as easy. The minute I went to get him from his crib he said he did not want to go to school. He told me this many times that morning. Once we got to school he was clinging to my leg and had to be pulled in by Lidia. When I went to pick him up he was working on opening different types of caps with Lidia, he was doing really well. Monday the 5th will be his first full half day.
Aidan settled right back in and is loving being one of the older children. He is excited to show the other kids how to things and be a role model. He is also working on math and reading.
