We Found a House

After looking at about 20 houses during our preview trip we finally found the one we wanted in Tervuren, Belgium ( Link to Tervuren ).  It has plenty of room for our family and Greg was most excited with all of the automation that the owner has upgraded with all power shutters, power awning and of course remote control open fireplace.  We hope this will be a wonderfull place to live over the next 2 years or so.  It is close to the international Montessori school that Aidan will be attending so that will be nice.

Our Move to Belgium

After our week long preview trip to Brussels, Belgium Greg accepted his new position and we the craziness began on November 9th when we returned to the US with the plan of relocating our family to Brussels the 1st week of January 2011.  After getting all of the paperwork submitted to the immigration attorneys we had to start focusing on our first big hurdle of preparing for our household goods sea shipment which was packed into a 40' sea container on 11/29 and 11/30/2010.  The sea container as seen in pic below was sent from MN to Norfolk, VA via train car and placed on the Hanjin Chittgong Cargo ship which left the port in Norfolk on 11/15/10 and is on its way to Antwerp, Belgium with an expected arrival date of 12/27/10.  Here is the link to follow the ship Hanjin Chittagong
